The best way to view your Google Analytics metrics is in your GA account. Email Marketing automatically writes all of the UTM parameters into your email links. So how do you know which variables are associated with your emails? Follow along!
To find your Campaigns in Google Analytics:
Log in to your Google Analytics account. Once you’re logged into GA:
- Click on Acquisition
- Select Campaigns
- You should see your individual email campaigns listed there.
The link tracking focuses on:
- The Campaign: an individual email campaign (tagged with your email’s subject line)
- The Source: Email Marketing
- The Medium: Email
Please keep in mind: It can take 24 hours for the stats to show up.
